Pro/PROCESS FOR ASSEMBLIES supports the widespread dissemination of process information throughout the engineering and manufacturing organizations. It ensures clear communications of assembly procedures either via traditional process drawings or web-viewable process plans. Pro/PROCESS for ASSEMBLIES creates process plans and service documentation and also establishes individual steps for the assembly process. It also adds instructions for each of the steps in the process as well as the ability to assemble and disassemble the components. Also, it generates Fabrications Units and assembles fixtures and tooling to the assembly without the effect of the Design Assembly. Pro/PROCESS for ASSEMBLIES regroups components independent of the design assembly to model the fabrication structure accurately in addition to producing time and cost estimates for each process step. It customizes the display of each process step by defining multiple explode states and it creates explode-offset lines and assigns different colors and line fonts to components based on the status step. Also, it can generate detailed drawings and produce a manufacturing bill of material for each step of the process.
