What is Pro/ENGINEER?

Pro/ENGINEER is a feature based, parametric solid modeler. By modeling in solids, Pro/ENGINEER enables users to create virtual prototypes complete with dimensions, parameters, surface area, and mass properties.

What industries are currently using Pro/ENGINEER?

In the past, Pro/ENGINEER was used primarily by mechanical engineering departments within the automotive and aerospace industries. Since then, different modules for the basic Pro/ENGINEER package have been developed. Currently, Pro/ENGINEER serves many more industries ranging from electrical engineering of cabling systems to hydraulics and piping to sheetmetal, GEA analysis and beyond. With its many great advancements, Pro/ENGINEER is no longer just for mechanical engineering.

Does Torgon sell PTC Products?

While Torgon used to be a Full Product Line Reseller of PTC Products, we made a Strategic decision to separate from PTC so that we can give a truly unbiased opinion on all MCAD and PLM products.  Our industry experience and separation from any one MCAD or PLM vendor ensures that we help select the appropriate solution for our Client's needs.  We do not sell PTC products directly.  We do sell services that utilize many different software packages including Pro/Engineer, Autocad, Solidworks, Solid Edge, and Catia.
